neither one will give it to me. it hasnt even barely been a talking point in the whole election. but at least with mc cain i KNOW i wont be discriminated against beyond being a citizen thank you for your service, however, please take a moment to realize, right now every candidate has something to win/lose (the election). They are both saying the things (people) want to hear. There are absolutely no guarantees in what (either) will do when they obtain office. Stay neutral, do your research, vote for your best interests. It's really not a color issue, rather the issue is whether either is or will become capable to run this country fairly, who best can represent this great nation. yeah i know. just look it up. i find it hard to believe there wasnt a church near him that preached tolerance. he really did go to a bad church. and for a religious person, a preacher is next to the mouth of god. EDIT: link:http://www.nypost.com/seven/03182008/postopinion/opedcolumnists/minister_mess_102490.htm The writer for that article... Here's his bio http://author.nationalreview.com/bio/?q=MjE1NQ== I'm not buying alot of what he's selling here. He works directly for Fox News... Give me a break. |

ok so what people want to hear is NOt veterans being cared for? as for color it IS an issue if hes racist. Why do you think he's racist? Because a minister he was associated with in the past was? Does that mean if anyone was associated with someone who is racist that they're racist as well? |

WTF? lol. ntm he went to that church for 2 decades. thats a long time ot be hearing the same thing over and over from someone you TRUST and listen to. |

You do realize there are people out there who can think for themselves, right? Just because someone tells you something, it doesn't mean it's going to be what you think. Now, no one can stop you from thinking he's racist. But, there's been nothing to show that's true. |

Old news here but the preacher does not MAKE Obama believe what he says or practice it for that matter. Many preachers say alot of off the wall stuff to their congregations but that does not make the whole congregation guilty of what the preacher preached. |

granted but the man was his PERSONAL religious "liason" i think thats a very sacred and personal thing, ntm the amount of stuff someone with even a little intelligence could implant in a short time with that level of trust.
