(soooo, J/K!!!) I never really sweated meeting "Mommy/Daddy". I just went into the meeting with initial respect and hopefully achieving the same by simply being "me". If we ended up "gelling"...fine...if not..."oh well", I just made sure to acknowledge birthdays, anniversarys and bought her awesome Christmas gifts, and all was well.

My ex hubbies parents were sooooooooooooooo nice......so were his bros and sister. I feel bad. But my son's dad's mom didnt like me.......and I her.........we just didnt "click"
