Flow in the living moment. — We are always in a process of becoming and NOTHING is fixed. Have no rigid system in you, and you'll be flexible to change with the ever changing. OPEN yourelf and flow, my friend. Flow in the TOTAL OPENESS OF THE LIVING MOMENT. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves. Moving, be like water. Still, be like a mirror. Respond like an echo.

It sounds similar to the Buddhist/Hindu/Christian (don't shoot!) doctrine of indifference. What has been cannot be changed and what will be cannot be avoided, so remorse and fear have no purpose. Life does not form to our expectations or plans, so why pollute ourselves with worry?

Seems all kinds of loopy until you see the science behind it.

Unfortunately, some see " going with the flow " as being apathetic.

I rarely get stressed over anything ( although the next week or so are gonna be a pretty good test of my stress reduction skills ) and my last girlfriend took the fact that I wasn't stressed to mean that I simply didn't care about something she was freaking out about.

We had quite a few fights because of that kind of thing.
