I don't know why, but i suddenly started thinking of a certain situation i was in with my last ex. I remember sitting in his bedroom with him. Suddenly, he mentions to me, that he thinks i should go home there and then, incase he hurts me. Not sure if he meant physically or mentally, but at least he warned me, before he did it. I keep crying, wishing i could do more to help him. I may not be an expert on mental health, but i really try to help wherever, and however i can. *shrugs* And he even asked me to marry him. Damn.

Just had one leave me and go back to her ex-husband. Anyone dealt with this? And, as she was so much a woman I want, is there another one out there? Love living on the edge. are you asking if there are anymore bipolar psychos? check the outpatient mental hospitals,,,, |

My mother, my husband and my daughter has suffered horribly with mental illness. I have walked all of them through differing and varying phases and degrees of their lives. Spent many days in the hospitals waiting to see them, letting them know that they had an advocate. My daughter has had her son taken from her only to have him live with his daddy who has fooled the world into believing he can operate on a semblance of drug lucidity.
I have been on treatment panel teams for them, with them. I am very careful the terminology used to describe their situation. Respect and trust is a major key issue..for all of us. Sometimes decisions must be made on someone's behalf. It is compelling and extremely difficult. There is more that could be shared. I tend to take all this very serious and cannot find humor in this any more than I could joke about a tornado pulling a sweet child from a mother's arms in the recent storms. |

I dont think its humorous when people are sick
I think people are self diagnosed and misdiagnosed as 'sick' much too often though as an excuse for their decisions but that doesnt negate that some people are indeed mentally ill and incapable of certain functions of survival in life that being said I find it as odd that someone would 'SEEK' a 'mentally ill' person for partnership as I find it that someone would 'SEEK' a tornado prone area to live,,,, |
