Topic: I've never just asked | |
---|---|
a girl for her number, at least one I didn't already know, but I'm thinking about asking this girl who works at my bank.
Is it inappropriate to just ask the next time I'm in there? I mean, it is her place of work and we've only had a couple of chats when I've gone to cash my paychecks. I got the feeling that she wouldn't mind if I asked, but she does have a job dealing with customers and it's part of her job to interact with people. Is there a certain way I should go about it if I do? Or am I just thinking to hard as I've been known to do =/ |

as a rule of thumb, assume that 99.99% of the girls you ask are going to turn you down
so go ahead and maybe you'll be surprised |

be confident....and dont buy into statistics!
the best way is to not ask for her #. but to ask her when your going out!! she'll give her # to you!!! good luck |

Ask! You'll for sure never know if you don't. There is nothing wrong in asking, I'd think, that even if she didn't want to go out, she might would feel flattered that you noticed her and if she doesn't feel ok about giving it to you right away, you will have let her know you're interested and she might take the next step to get to know you better.

Don't just ask for a number. Ask her if she wants to go for coffee. Then get her number so you can call her.

instead of outright asking for her phone number, i'd time my next visit for close to the lunch hour and in conversation say that you're hungry, ask for a restaurant recommendation closeby, and ask her if she'd like to join you.

I'd go with what papersmile said, and ask her if she would like to have lunch, or ask if she would like to go out and then you have the green light for her digits. |

Did you ask this question before? I swear there was another guy who liked a girl in a bank and asked the same exact question. He never replied what happened.

There was this girl who would always be at the window when I come through. I worked up the nerve to ask for her number one day and she told me she was married. |
