Divorced in October, 2007, she went back to her ex-husband this afternoon.
Absolutely adored her. We went shopping; I placed a bid on a car for her, etc. Just came home from work after an entire day with her and she was gone. Not hatin'; not bein' dramatic. Wish the best for her. Can someone help me with expletives, threats, curses, etc.? Grace & Peace to all, David |

Love comes and goes, it is the change that is the hard part, so used to being happy with someone, so used to the love given. But when you least expect it, A better love will take you away....

Right after my ex's car got repoed, because her new husband couldn't make the payments, I bought a nice luxury Car and everytime I pic up my son in it, you can see her anger. |

You know what? I just talked to my daughters (who were spit-cryin' po'd about this) and we decided to sign the lease for the house I just paid for her to move in to, and live in it and OWN everything she just moved into the house!!!!
Too mean or justified? When she left my apartment, after having removed everything and leaving her key, she didn't even say anything to my 20 year old daughter who was visiting at the time except to say, "I'm going to do laundry." Justified? Please present. |

I denied my ex's savings, his 401k, any of his assets in court as we have been seperated for 4 years, he then wanted me to pay half of his student loan, I refused as I felt it wasn't my place to pay for his student loan that he told his parents to stop paying for school.
The magistrate looked at me with a knowing look and said "by law she is responsible for any debt that happened within the marriage, I am giving her half of your savings, half of your 401k, 2 years of spousal support we will deduct what half of your student loan is and she will get the rest." Needless to say he was VERY unhappy about it. If he would have kept his mouth shut he would have been about 20K richer today..... Love is war... fight smart. |

Bottom line is... you have to be able to sleep at night. Each person and every situation is different.

I as mad at my Ex once and Didn't want to see her, But I had to go and pick up my son. So when she asked me what was wrong, I told her that my GF had a miscarriage with my baby and we broke up because of it. Well that was a lie, no GF to have a miscarriage with, but my ex lost about a week of sleep because of it....

I am so sorry to hear that you got taken for a ride. I don't get it. I treat guys nice; wouldn't dream of asking for someone else to buy me a car, apartment, furniture, blah blah blah I hear guys shelling out for for casual girlfriends. Maybe it is being too independent but I don't have a price tag glued on my behind. No how-no way any one can say I am useing or abuseing them.
Sure I want to be asked out like a lady and it be more that a cup of coffee but I make and effort to be good company, look respectable, and if a gentleman repeats the compliment of a nice date more than a couple of times I reciprocate with an invitation of my own. Maybe not dollar for dollar because I am not on the same payscale as most men but I am not breaking anyone down financially. Honestly I don't get why guys don't see it coming. If a gal is going to shack up with you like she can't put two nickles of her own together. Starts the gimme gimme's from jump street. Stays cozy with the Ex you got to see disaster written all over that. I have to wonder where you meet these kind of gals? Are they panhandleing on the street or what? I can't even imagine asking someone to buy a car. I didn't even ask my husand to buy a car for me. Don't these gals have a job? All I can say is they must be passing out one heck of a "Benefit" package in your "friends with benifits" deal. I guess you get your nose so deep in the flower you can't see what is coming. Did you even step back and watch how she operated a while before you hooked up? It is not like a lepard changes their spots over night. Lot to be said for that winter and summer concept of dateing before you become and ATM with hair. If she had an Ex did you think maybe checking out his side of the story? Maybe they were in cahoots. She had to have some help to bug-out that fast. I don't think I would give her a chance to be a tenant you would never see a dime in rent for sure. People like that I would give a wide berth to. The old saying fool me once shame on you...fool me twice same on me. When ever you mess with someone that has already burned ya it is just bad Karma to hang around. I also don't see saddleing yourself with a luxery car payment just to spite and Ex. Isn't that like cutting your nose off to spite your face? Living well being the best revenge makes sense if you don't bury yourself in debt so only a bimbo will want you. How about taking a look at some of us "plain janes" that live within our own means. See how a woman treats her parents. That is a pretty good indication how she is going to treat you. Better luck next time. |
