It was made about the same time as the ten commandments. I think the
star is Kirk Douglas, but I very well might be mistaken. It has alot
less Hollywood in it, but I think it is more correct than the new one. I
thought they went overboard with the digital imagary in the new one.
Basically it is the same story though. I just like old movies, and this
one looked fake to me!

Thank you Fanta! I'll have to watch that one before I see the new
version.

Oh and Christina I totally agree when they were fighting back to back..
That was awesome...

But when you saw Leonidus from the back and he was naked oh my god could
you imagine waking up with that everyday... LOL

They were all goodlooking though..Can you imagine the work they went
through to get bodies like that.

WOW is all I can say...Maybe we should plan a trip to Greece and see if
there are any descendants to the 300 alive and see what they look like

we all have our opinions fanta let's draw it there. i didn't know it but
the guy who's telling the story at the end of 300 who got the injured
eye he was in Lord of the Rings!! o.o i recognized him from Van Hellsin
with Hugh Jackman as the priest but that's it. -.- one of my managers is
trying to tell me that guy is Lupin from HP! O.O he is not!! arrrrr haha

The fight scenes arent as Hollywood, but it shows on regular TV.

i like you already jen lol! i would go in a heartbeat i swear it!!! a
few guys were coming out of the theater and their girls were swooning
over the guys in the movie. their bfs started saying that it's all fake
their chests and stuff

*facepalms and blushes* i went completely red when that scene started
jen! all the way till the end of their love making ....god...*blushes
more*

in the end there were so many scenes i wanted to FREEZE and have as
posters lol

and god the music!!!! omg i loved it!! especially the opera kind that
was playing!

The 300 Spartans is a 1962 film depicting the Battle of Thermopylae.

I saw the star of the new one on the late show last night. The movie was
made in Canada! The new one.
