Good question, but I can't give you an answer. I've lived in 'New England' all my life, but I ain't no New Englander, and never have been. I think these days, it's more of an attitude, the Boston-based uppityness, or the Maine coastal lobster fishermen thing. To further complicate things, a lot of Vermonters don't consider themselves 'New Englanders.' Aren't you glad you asked?
