Are you aloud to in your state,
in PA they made it no smoking at all, unless i think the food, vrs beer is a certain % what's the law where you live ? 
dosn't affect me i dont smoke but i really didn't mind it, |

they passed it here then dropped the ban, then put it up again. bars & clubs are getting away with it by installing retractable roof sections so when it's open...it's not an enclosed environment. they have fans too to draw the smoke up & out. crazy hillbillies can't be without their tobacky

i smoke but i dont mind it, i see no need for someone to breath my second hand smoke. its my choice to smoke, not theres so i just go outside. i go out side at my oun house because of my daughter so why not have the same respect for the rest who choose not to smoke |

dosn't affect me i dont smoke but i really didn't mind it, Can't here in Cali at all, bars either. Some parts of LA you can't smoke within so many feet of the entrance either, so no smoking on the aptios either. |

I wish they'd ban smoking in all public areas, maybe then people would just stay home and traffic wouldn't be so bad!
No smoking indoors in public in California... too bad I have to breathe everyone's smoke all over campus... it SUCKS! |

banned in restaurants in indiana. but not in bars or nightclubs. i use to smoke but don't anymore, but i don't see why people can't smoke in restaurants if they have the sections divided. i would rather be by a smoker in a restaurant then a family with a screaming baby!

There's no smoking ban in VA. It's nice when I go to DC or MD, though, cause they both have smoking bans.

Banned in MA in all public places, restaurants, and bars. Private clubs can still smoke.

Can't smoke anywhere inside in Ohio. Bar's put patios in so you could smoke and in the winter they have these funky heaters that don't do any good. I don't really care, but in a bar I should be allowed to smoke... but whatever it's not really a big deal. I've never really been an inconsiderate smoker anyways.

I live in Minnesota and there's no smoking in bars OR restaurants. I completely understand the no restaurant thing, I've never liked smoking around kids anyway. Even though there's separate sections smoke DOES travel. The no smoking in bars thing is what gets to me. I mean, yes, non-smokers have a right to not inhale the crap we choose to pollute the air with, but I just don't know anybody who goes to a bar to be healthy. I just figure it's more of a way to promote quitting.

i remember when i was younger & used to fly by myself to see my dad in SF. smoking was still allowed on planes and i always sat next to a smoker that puffed the entire flight. it's hard to imagine now!

It has been like this in Canada Ontario for a few years now. I think it was last year or the year before that when they also passed the law that we are not even allowed to smoke under and type of canopy or roof top. Oh heck stores are not even allowed to display smokes or smoke products anymore.

was there also a law recently, that prohibits people from smoking in their cars if there are children in them? or is it just at the talking stage? (i'm not a smoker so i haven't paid too much attention to it) |

no smokin inside period in IL...unless the bar/restaraunt owner is cool...they took all the ashtrays away
, so if u go into certain bars they give a little cup of water to ash in
