I feel so betrayed... i put alot on the line for this person, my kids and myself and to this person it's nothing, like it does not matter or it never happened You have a right to feel that way. It is exactly what has happened, & it really stinks! Unfortunately, you are most likely right about the rest of it, too. He doesn't care what you risked...unless the person is simply afraid to be vulnerable, fearing commitment, whatever. In that case, the person doesn't have much of a backbone, or he'd be able to admit that to you. Either way, it's best to be rid of him...even though it hurts.

what really hurts me the most is this person made it very clear that my children were very important and this person wanted to be a good role model to them, never hurt me or them and never make a promise that could not be kept... all which was a huge load of BULLS**T... I dont know how this person looks in the mirror

I dont know how this person looks in the mirror You also have to remember that a lot of people have no conscience, so telling a lie and gaining your confidence only to mistreat you means nothing to them. And another thing, he might have a mental problem. Be glad all he did was lie, some people are so crazy as to be dangerous.

I dont know how this person looks in the mirror A similar thing happened to me. Go google sociopaths and psychopaths. Study it, and then just be on your guard. Good ones fool you because they are good. You can't always spot them no matter how vigilant you are, but you can be as prepared as you can be. Just keep in mind that as hard as it is to believe, what this man did had nothing to do with you. He most likely only cares for himself. Only thinks about himself, and others aren't real and hold no value other than what of his needs they can fill. I'm so very, very sorry.
