My spiritual word of the day is Resilience.

I'm using it with the meaning of being able to bounce back from adverstity. In particular with regard to being able to make positive changes in your life. Getting out of a rut.

So what's your spiritual "word of the day"?

What word best describes how you feel spiritually today?

Harmonious ...

I am listening to the Imams call out the muezzin and the sermons in Arabic as I type this.
Then the response from the muslim congregation after they have broken their fast from Ramadan.

I am in the middle of a triangle with a mosque on each angle.

So Im getting this three times.

Grateful. Grateful for the positive changes in my life. Grateful that I have everything I need today (food, shelter, friends, family). Grateful just to have today.

So you're digging yourself a rut of stagnation I see. laugh

I've been there and done that, and now I'm bouncing back. bigsmile

You should take a lesson from Livelife and show a little gratitude.

hmm?

i thought we were talking of spirituality?

my life is a rut because of circumstances, my daily spirituality will continue to be the same no matter what the circumstances.

Gladness, gratefulness, happiness, love, and all else are part of that spirituality. therefore. no need for a special word of the day to motivate me in a "spiritual" way.

But - if that helps you get through your day, then be my guest. flowerforyou

It's not about needing help to get through the day Tribo.

You've been talking to too many Christians. laugh

Spirituality is a part of your life whether you're religious or not. If you choose to remain stagnant in your spirituality at the moment then so be it. That's your choice.

So without even knowing it you've conveyed a whole lot of spiritual words for the day.

Stability
Steadfastness
Firmness
Solidity
Reliability
Dependability
Immovable
Resolute
Inflexible
Obstinate
Stubborn

again my spirituality is all inclusive, so no matter whether i'n a rut or bringing forth new and exciting activity is not relevent to being in need of a word for this to get me there if thats where i am headed.

Thankyou your Lordship. flowerforyou

I am indeed loving it.

Thus far I have only had one very complex and profound reading. The reading was so complex and so profound that it took me several days to understand it.

Actually I'm just learning tarot so it took me several days to figure out what the hell it was trying to say. laugh

But OMG! Once I understood the message I was blown away!

I'm totally convinced that this reading could not have happened pure happenstance. There's no way. It's far too vivid and perfect to have been a random accident.

There are 9 cards in this particular reading. Each card has a special meaning based both on its location in the spread and on what the individual card has to say about that particular position in the spread.

Not a single card is less than profound in its location!

Moreover to move these cards around within the spread randomly would make no sense at all.

It's a deeply spiritual communication.

Jeanniebean helped me ever so slighty to understand a few things about it that I was reading incorrectly. At first I wasn't sure how to understand her interpretations but after dwelling on them for a while I realized that this is precisely what they mean.

So, yes, I'm having fun with it and I'm fully understanding the communications that are coming down to me from the higher powers that be!

In any case, I'm in love with tarot now. love

I'm in love with Jeanniebeanie too, but everyone already knows about that.

the tower of the mind, which build illusions all the way to the sky, of what is wisdom and good and happiness, crumble when all felt, seen, tasted, heard, smelled is as first "willed" with "all tenacity" of preserverance seen as EQUAL, first within oneself in ALL THINGS, never acknowledging a fear of being as "bad", as what can hear and admit ALL of itself if it fear being "bad", and what that does not have whole sight of itself, can come to see any act that was only committed was only because of lack of MORE, which MORE can NEVER be heard, seen, felt, until this is fear or "god" is passed thru, which carry any to a land where there are no giants, where there is no strife, to a land where the taskmaster the mind, the great adversary the dragon of fear is as dead, that had insisted on turning all things into good and bad defintions, deceiving into a false wisdom........

So true David.

My tarot card reading revealed to me that I am the devil himself!

That's right ladies and gents, I am Satan in the flesh! noway

The Emperor stole my sword and won't give it back!

But not to worry!

The cards have revealed how I can get my sword back and cut the shackles that bind me to the pits of hell thus releasing myself to become the King of Swords that I was meant to be!

There's romance in the mix too, but let's not worry about that right now.

It's a long-term reading. glasses

More to come later. Stay tuned! flowerforyou

indeed the greatest wisdom of self peace is all were meant to be a "lil angel", and a "lil devil", lol.....

so what fear is there of the "lil devil" any and each is, lol...

the lil devil become a BIG devil to any that fear and hate to hear and look and see all of oneself, as the mind rightfully so accuse, lol.......

truth come from any angel, from any place, from any devil, even the REST OF THE TRUTH, from the LAST place any mind thinks as possible, lol........

the diobolical nature of the WHOLE TRUTH, that keep out any that have defintions of good and bad from the "tree"......

You are such a wise man David. Were you struck by a lightening bolt of wisdom or something?

truth come from any angel, from any place, from any devil, even the REST OF THE TRUTH, from the LAST place any mind thinks as possible, lol........

The truth of your words shines out like a supernova to me David

I am learning so much from Jeanniebean and from tarot. These are actually quite separate things by the way. I mean, Jeanniebean and tarot. She just coincidentally got me interested in it and inadvertently caused me spend almost $200 on tarot cards. noway

But the wisdom she shares does not come from tarot. It comes from her. It's her wisdom. Not meaning that it belongs to her, but rather it passes through her and she is more than willing to channel it to anyone who has ears to listen and eyes to see.

The tarot is only one small sparkle in radiance of Jeanniebean's aura of wisdom. She is fully aware of that and will shower anyone with whatever knowledge she has that they might like to possess.

I think of Jeannie as a treasure chest of glittering gems of wisdom and spiritual inspiration.

She's my pseudo cyber girlfriend and this is a dating site, so I'm allowed to praise her spirituality in the Religion forums. bigsmile

Besides it's a lot more constructive that talking about depressive judgmental doctrines. laugh
