The way I see it, about 80% of the people are pretty middle of the road, a little bit liberal on some things and a little bit conservative on some things and over all reasonable about it Then there are 10% who are raving left wing lunatics who have to dominate every conversation with anti conservative conspiracy rants And the other 10% are raving right wing lunatics who have to dominate every conversation with anti-liberal conspiracy rants and they think if they say it loudest and longest they will win so all the normal people get drowned out and give up and walk away
