I really need some ideas for a Blog theme here. I want to add a Blog to
my website which is based on offering web design and development to the
public.

I need a theme that will attract other related websites to link to my
site while at the same time offer some value to my potential customers.

you could open a HELP line where they could ask questions on.. or you
could open a BLOG UPDATE if you will.. commentaries of whats on the
cutting edge.. what's up and comming.. programs tried, tested and true..
what works.. what doesn't..

SLUGGO... Poetry's 3 doors down dude!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok all I put up both a blog and an amazon store last night and linked
to them from my home page. Now, I plan on updateing the blog on a daily
basis but that is tnot what I am most concerned about.

Get this my site is currently ranked at a PR of 3 out of 10. I am
considering buying a link to my site from another higher rated related
website to improve that as well as increase traffic a bit.

What is really getting to me though is the addition of the online store
I made. You see that addition will have my server dynamically creating
pages for product and all of them will need to be indexed by the search
engines. Does not normally sound like a reason for concern right? Well,
Let me point out one small detail about it Amazon currently sells more
then 3 million items. So last night I literally created up to 3 million
links the search engine needs to index to my web site.

I think the search engines are going to hammer my web hosting account
pretty hard while they index it.

I would like to get some insight from the JSH Geeks on all this.

Personally I think it will hammer the server daily for an undetermined
amount of time. I also think my page rank will increase dramatically as
well.

one more thought I had not mentioned I am still working on makeing the
blog and the store look like my current website it looks pretty gaudy in
the store for my taste.

OOPpps, maybe just the blog...

I cannot provide links to my site or blog here as that would be a
violation of the rules. I can however tell you the name of the business
I am starting up without linking ot it.

My business name is "Lake Area Webs". If you put that into a google
search as one word I should be on top of the list of results. My website
home page has links to both the blog and the amazon store.

I am still working on the results of the font switcher but if you are
not visually impared it should not be needed anyhow.

I am also actively working on the SEO of the site as well. April 15th is
not only important because of income tax but it also happens to be the
day they have slated to release the new updated Google PageRanks. My
site is estimated to be a 4 when the new ranks come out. I am trying to
improve that. I really want to be like a 6-8 but I do not think they
will let me jump that much in one shot.
