Topic: Would the world be better off with Saddam alive in Iraq?

I believe war is wrong, but I can see the reasons why we are at war. It's a pity Saddam couldn't be removed by other means, but I don't see that could happen. Obviously many innocent people have died. But hopefully a better life for the Iraqi people can be built. Let's be honest, they were hardly living in luxury to begin with.... You really know nothing do you?? Iraq had one of the highest standards of living in the middle east before the US imposed its embargo and decimated the economic infrastructure...collapsing everything from schools to hospitals..of course your pet dog Saddam was doing fine since the US placed dictator never felt the sting of that embargo... And now since the US bombed Iraq back into the stone age, the only place they have to go from here is up... "many" innocent people died???? THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of innocent people died...including Americans.... i shouldnt answer a question that start as insults. hmmmmmm...damn this is the net, wonder how wars get started... i will not take insult though. and who was life in iraq so great for?? all the people?? the people of iraq were the ones that hung saddam. Im sure they were so confused at the time..their leader was found in a hole like an animal and war was again at their doors. the United States hung Saddam....wow..you REALLY know nothing...you say war, I say invasion, potatoe, pohtahto...lets call the whole thing off.....

and why o why does somebody in argentina even care? personally how has any of this affected you to all? (this is my question) 911, saddam, bin laden, afghanastin, iraq, iran...presidental elections.. whats your stake?? just a freedom fighter?? what about freedom from opression?? equal rights for all?? freedom from fear of the next bomb that drops, how close will it be to your doorstep??

I dont belive in the conspiracy. the alternative is to believe in terrorists. do I sleep well? NO do i fly? NO can i walk outside and enjoy life? YES Can i seek medical treatment and live a decent life? YES do my children attend beautiful schools with the hope of tommorrow? YES what do you think a young iraqi woman would answer to the same questions??? is her only fear America???

Do you know NOTHING about what your country does, has done and continues to do in Latin America, in Europe, in the Middle East, in the Orient, in any place in the freaking world it can squeeze its meddlsome self into???

Ya know I gota believe this country and the entire world would be better off if would have let Saddam alone and wait him out untill he died like we are doing with Castro and like we did with the soviet union. We paid and are paying a huge price to say we hung saddam and so are the Iraqis. Its just so crazy F*** up

So what your saying is that it is "legal" for us to invade a sovereign country on the "premise" that we want them to have a better life after we bomb them, kill them, and force democracy down their throats??? HUH???? Brainwashing is still working I see. No, but when our government votes to go to war and it is passed than it is legal. That is how our laws work. So the war was legal.

What insult? I don't see any insult? I see someone quoting from a book. A book you might want to read sometime as it is amazing how it could apply to what is happening today. She has a right to state her opinion and the quotes she is referring to are so dead on, it's almost scary. But you would have had to of read the book to know that. Threatening to report her just because you either disagree with her opinion (or from what I can tell, you are ignorant as to what she is referring to) is just childish, selfish, and just plain petty.
