 How many of you folks here feel that a same sex marriage
should adopt the same sex child and try to raise them with all the right values of BOTH SEXES??? In other words do YOU think two men can raise a male child to VIEW life from a normal out-look.
And or,,Two women who raise a daughter?

Yes I do. A good frind of mine is gay and her and her lover have adopted a child and they are happy and wonderful together

I feel same sex marriages should be able to adopt whatever sex of a child they wish too.. just because the parents are "gay" doesn't mean that child is going to be.. that's shallow thinking.

I think in a situation like that, the parents are going to raise the child according to their views on what a normal life should be, but there is always going to be someone who disagrees with their views and will have a negative opinion on it. So to me it really doesn't matter, as long as the child is brought up in healthy environment, and taught to respect others, that's what counts.JMHO

Boy hot subject, I believe people are people and capable of everything any one else is, no matter what they do in private. The sexual preferances has no bearing on how a person lives their daily lives, granted you can have the sick-o's, but that is in everything and every race, and both genders.

well i think it would confuse the child, and i have been trying to tell my own daughter that
as she is now in a gay relationship and has 3 kids range from 10yrs-2/2yrs and my youngest granddaughter is calling my daughter gf daddy j and i dont think that is right, my daughter doesnt see that as a problem but my family does, and so do i. and i feel that my grandkids need to get some counseling done to deal with all this |

 OK,,,but now I ask,,,WHO,,or WHAT would THAT child "call" his parents?? Who's Mom,,,and WHO'S dad?
And just to try and THINK in THAT, simplist form,,,I find it HARD to think that their viewing of their parents affections would seem MORE NORMAL,,than a male and female couple..... Just as most of us older people seen gay life styles as NOT normal Im NOT bashing,,im really worried about our future generations of kids..

Worried about our future generations? Why? Because they're going to be more tolerant and open than the older generations? That would be a good thing, wouldn't it? |

Heres the thing...if your against that kind of stuff...then whats the solution for all the kids that are in our adoption system...since alot of people are against abortion, we have a ton of kids with no parents...someone needs to adopt them
