And ya know???? I REALLY like that too!!! Married man waiting on divorce papers...... And MY pic is real!!! Hanging that 3/4 inch plywood in my shop for an office wall 5 feet up. I picked up 9 pieces that day and held them up while a friend screwed them down. |

Not sure which shocks me more. That he did that at all, or that he actually TOLD you he did!

He probably didn't really DO IT,(shudders) but he made the point that it could be happening & I would have no way of knowing. |

Don't be so fast to judge. There are legitimate reasons why some don't post pics. I am very happy that I didn't think to judge one book by its cover here. Turned out to be the best story of my life. 
What started out as a friend with no pic, turned into an online love who I don't want to showing his pic NOW for sure! I'd rather he spend time wiff me than fighting off women here. 
I know that marriage or girlfriends can be a real concern, so get to know them well, and read the signs. The closer you get, the clearer they will be. Jumping into anything so fast that you don't see signs is a mistake, picture or not.

I think the best way to know anyone is to talk in the forums and if you feel comfortable with someones personality, you can ask them about their pics as you're getting to know them better. Personally, I took most of mine down from here after hearing a couple of horror stories about people seeing their pics used on other websites. I would not answer threads asking if you are on other sites either...one person this happened to thinks the fact that she answered that she was not, may have prompted the theft of her pics from a website like this one.

Mikey must have lots of neighbors. I have seen the same sunset pic used by others. At least two posters on okcupid.com used that pic.
I met a man on-line and after a year of gaming, messages and phone calls met him in person, sight unseen for the first of what would be a very happy three year relationship. We are still great friends. Pictures aren't essential in a public forum but it does raise a red flag for me. |

Well I agree with No1slove, in that after speaking with someone you can always ask for a pic. There could be real reasons why they don't have one posted like was mentioned. I can see the flags being raised...I suppose it boils down to talk talk and talk some more to them.
