to lie about your age?

Lol this guy has his profile set on 21 or above so I can't write him. But his profile really intriqued me. He just moved here from Wis which oddly enough I did too a few years ago and he doesnt drink. I have yet to meet a guy who doesn't drink.

Poo makes me so tempted to change my age to 21 just so I can write him hahaha.

So has anyone ever been tempted or done it?

Umm...does it count when someone assumes you're younger and you don't correct them? I only do it to passersby and not people I may ever see again. It's kinda cool to feel 26 again...even if it's only for 10 minutes at a time.

Although sometimes I wish I were about ten years younger, I don't think I've ever been tempted to tell someone I was a different age.

I have a suggestion: Instead of changing your age to contact him, maybe you can get someone you know on here to contact him for you. Starting a relationship on a lie is NEVER a good idea.

I once met a guy who put up a picture that obviously was not him. He was nothing near as cute as the guy in the photo (probably a magazine pic). I continued the date with him, had him take me shopping, roused him a little and left him in his stance.

see thats what i was thinking! if i emailed him told him exactly what i did and why i did it maybe it'd capture his attention as wow she did all that just to say hi to me.

Sweetie its not like you're 14 claiming to be 18, just do it already. Worst case scenario is that he doesn't want to talk to you. As it stands right now I'm sure he doesn't even know you exist yet.

I personally haven't, but I've been the victim of several perspective members' and their lying-about-their-age shenanigans-

One lady in particular put down that she was "33" in her profile when she site mailed me. When I checked out her pics, I didn't find anything in the way of 33 year-old wimmins in there.

So I asked why she had pics of her mom in her profile- she replied that it WAS her in those pics. Her story was that she put down the age she "felt" in her profile instead of her actual chronological age (she was closer to 65 than 33), AND that she thought she could get away with it, too.

I countered by saying, "Well... I'm 35 but I FEEL at least 60... do you see ME putting THAT down as my age?". Unfortunately, her story wasn't gonna fly with me one bit.
