Oh no, this doesn't happen. Isn't that illegal drug use being condoned by the states. What is the country coming to.

I don't reckon I'd mind for them there teachers to carry guns........just as long as my boys can carry 'em too.

Maybe they wer Joking , but many people use those types of drugs to control their Kids. People put lifestyle, and Money ahead of raising their Kids. They would rather pay up to $400 dollars a week for child care, and medicate their child, rather than stay home with them for 5, or 6 years.

Some of us working mothers don't have a choice but to go to work and pay for day care. I never had the choice to stay home with my child. I resent the implication that all parents that work and put their kids in daycare, did so because they want to.

This is a sad subject, it isn't bad enough that we have children killing children, but to think that teachers could be doing it because they don't/can't control a child in their classroom. Makes me sick to think of it

Its bad enough that the teachers are calling police on 6 year olds and the cops are tasering small children.

Well its up to you to get upset, but i never said All. I never singled out single Mothers, or Parents. I said people who would rather give their child a Pill instead of Spending time with them. Parents that have a choice to not put their Career, and Life Style first.

I understand that. But also just because a parent gives their kid medication doesn't mean they don't need it either. Some people do medicate their kids rather than parent them... however, alot don't.

Parents who give their children the medication you are talking about are not doing it so the do not have to be parents, it is because the children have a medical condition such as a chemical imbalance and that said medication helps control issues and behaviors that are out of the childs control.

The answer to violence and discipline problems is a gun? Well, he!! then...why don't we all carry 'em? In the grocery store, at the bank, on the street...even in our work places? In fact, let's turn the whole country into the Wild West, whadaya say? It worked well back then, didn't it?

Sort of like 'putting out the fire with gasoline', isn't it?

The problem is that there is no easy fix..no one thing that will solve the problems kids face in school today. All of the possible causes mentioned above hold a grain of truth...but it is all of those (and more) combined that have led us to the point when a question like this is even posed.

So whats your point?

In some cases yes, you are right. But it has been proven that a lot of Kids dont need the Medicine.

It boils down to a difference of opinion and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But you must take in consideration what is best for the whole group that you are speaking of.

In this case I believe that allowing anyone to carry weapons in school will only result in further unnecessary voilence. Again JMO

I think up to a certain age we should all carry Guns. I bet the crime rate would go down Even with building more jails, the crime rate is up. Because of overly abusive parents, the courts took away your right to discipline your child. Parents Beating up Teachers,Students Beating up Teachers. What do you want them to do. In most cases only 60, or 70% of the Students Graduate High School. You cant force them into the Military, or make them get a Job. so what is the answer. How do we get our Youth to be Productive. Cant Keep Petting them on that head, and telling them its going to be Ok. Some of them need their A$$ kick. Some of us Parents need our A$$ Kicked.
