I would definitely be hurt without a doubt!! I don't know what I'd do actually... I know I wouldn't feel comfortable with her family....it's really hard to say... Really great question though....something to think about!!

Sounds ugly, the family would possibly never accept you if you did get with her. And her ex could become a stalker and really dangerous, you see the murders on the news all the time. Sorry for the problem, no easy answer.

I would give it time. Allow them to know you better. Those kinds of things have a way of changing.

It may be hard to take at first, just stick together and be there for each other until they come around. If your relationship is a happy and healthy one, they will learn to appreciate the guy because they love their daughter and want her to be happy.
