New to this site. I am disabled and alot of women come right out and ask if my disability affects my sex life. That is a bit too bold, especially if you started talking 5 minutes prior. I have had 3 heart attacks and lost my left leg below the knee due to diabetes. The worst part of putting down your disabled is the people that think oh, he is poor and mentally unstable. Some of us have more than SSD coming in as income.

Welcome, but it's not about money/SSI...at least not with anyone you should want to be with...

I do not see a reason for the irritation at being asked such questions.
Each of the women that I've known, and some whom I've been attracted to without becoming close, were very open about addressing any issue at all that effects sex. This includes women whom deal with multiple hurdles and some disabilities. It is not embarrassing, nor is the subject left to some late date in developing a relationship.
I've never had to ask, because the information is either stated up front, or the subject is opened soon after email communication begins. To me, it is no more judgmental than being told that they are looking for somebody younger, with close family ties, better finances, closer to their locale, etc.
IMO

Kinda sounds like you are very bothered by your so called disabilities.

The beauty inside of a person will shine through no matter what the physical imperfections. Just let people know you and stop harping on your vision of your imperfections. Right now you have made it so that is all anyone can see, cause it is all you are showing.

Welcome and good luck.

I am sorry if I offended anyone. I had been married all of my adult life. I have been single about 3 months and this living by myself is new to me. I am adjusting to being single. The dating is a bit different than it was 30 something years back.
