Whats the best way to end a relationship with someone without hurting them emotionally? Be honest. You are not responsible for their emotions. You are only responsible for your own emotional health.

I know....it's not easy for either person. That's why it hurts so much! (whispertoascream) Like I said, I would much rather be the one hurt, then to think for a second that my words have hurt somebody.

be honest. its going to hurt but it will be a lot better in the end. my fiance and i broke up a few months ago and i still have no idea why. he refuses to tell me. at first it was hard to move on because i had no idea what happened we went from planning a wedding one day to LITERALLY the next it being over. with no reason. so yes honesty is best!
