Before I got married she heard that I had 3 kids in different states. Hell, I was only 21 then and only been with 2 before her. They didn't have any kids. Never did find out where that started from.

The appliance repair man in my apt building told my neighbor that he knew me before I was married and had kids that I was a stripper at the local strip club.
