If you think there's something wrong, there probably is. Be cautious and follow your instinct.

If it feels off it probably is off. That's your own inner alarms going off. The ladies above all had the right advise. Just go on with what you have to do and don't let the person in question have enough control over your feelings that they are capable of making you unhappy. Either with time they will come tell you what is going on or they will continue to ignore you and you will know they weren't the type person you would want to be with anyway because they couldn't man up and tell you to your face that they are done for what ever reason....
