No one with cat allergies would be around me long enough for me to fall in love. I have 3 cats. I probably would not spend much time with someone who was allergic or didn't like them. That being said, as much as I love my pets, people come 1st. We'd have to make do until I could find the best possable homes for the kitties.

Does anyone in this site with answers like this wonder why you are still single....................... Nope. I'm pretty sure I know why I'm single. I won't settle for Mrs. Right Now when I can have Mrs. Right. I'm not looking for a short term fix. I'm looking for somebody to grow old with, share life with, etc. If I merely settled for convenience, I'd be cheating myself and I'd be cheating her.

That being said, as much as I love my pets, people come 1st. We'd have to make do until I could find the best possable homes for the kitties.

Why should you settle but if you put roadblocks in the experience do you think that you are giving it your biggest shot.............love is hard to come by and when someone wants it you cant be half ass at it and think it will come............it comes in the Now instead of the Right.................

I was shocked when someone posted a thread about saving pets or people in a fire & the overwhelming majority said they would save thier pets 1st! I wouldn't go that far. But I wouldn't introduce the shock of displacing my pet from his home entirely because of someone else's allergies. I have them as well. If they can't handle it, they more than likely wouldn't be the one for me anyway. Don't like it, tough... |

animals can no longer survive on their own unless we're ok with wild animals roaming the streets.. I for one am of the opinion that if I take on an animal then it's part of my family and I DO NOT just get rid of it b/c I've found a man and he is allergic... |

What are you talking about animals can survive when they are given enough time to adapt to their enviroment..............its not true unless its a wild animal then yes but cats and dogs are not wild and they will survive just fine...................are we really putting animals in front of people..............am I really having this conversation right now............... |

Please do not think I take my responsability to my animals lightly. I am not talking about ditching my cats for a chance to have sex. I am talking about a serious realationship with someone who has a serious allergy. Like I said before, the senario is not likely but I value humans over animals. |
