Does anyone here know what perimeters are used during a stress test and what the implications of not reaching them might be?
I know that they want to see a 120 heart rate, but is there a time frame they like to see this happen within, that too fast or too slow in reaching the target would be indicative of problems? This is not me...it's about my step father actually. |

Well it depends on the test. I had to go through a heart rate stress test in order to qualify for my job. I remember age and weight where taken into factor.

He's been going to the gym and getting his heartrate up to 120, which is their goal for him. He wants to be more at ease with the amount of walking it takes him to do it, because all the other tests they do make for a long day and he doesn't want to get too tired from it all. |
