Topic: Start as friends... | |

I've seen this in a thousand profiles, doesn't everyone start as friends? I mean I hardly meet someone and start as enemies, or meet someone and start as lovers.
What does that mean? |

Sounds like you answered your own question... Uhm, no, because I don't understand why it has to be stated... It's the way it's supposed to be, it's the normal and natural progression of things, so why make a point in saying it? |

I've come across men on here that think you need to put out after 3 dates
|

I am talking to someone and the only reason we have the rock solid friendship and bond that we do now is because she is longdistance, but because of that we have been able to grow.now we are moving forward.

Maybe cos they're tired of getting a marriage proposal after the first couple emails! HA! Yup it does happen! |

Is that a good answer??? |

It's the way it's supposed to be, it's the normal and natural progression of things, so why make a point in saying it? Maybe in your world? I have seen all side of it plus I don't have that line in mind. |

It's a different meaning of "friends" ..... I believe.
I have male friends.. but I'm looking for that true "friendship " in my potential mate..::shrug:: |

I've come across men on here that think you need to put out after 3 dates I've also met those guys... and it's usually the last date. It just seems like a defense mechinism to say that, and then if things do get heated, they have the fall back, "I said I just wanted to be friends" |

Well, I also have to state I'm not into cybersex, etc., too.... because some people actually think OTHERWISE!!! |

It probably don't matter what you state in your profile anyway...alot do't even read your profile. I have stated my LOVE for Peccy all over my profile...even have his pic on there and I still emails hitting on me, wanting me to yahoo, even giving me phone numbers! Some as young as 18!
