If you are the person who ended your last relationship, do you still feel any pain or guilt?

It was mutual, but still very painful. No guilt though.

It was painful and I did feel guilty when my last relationship ended...but I don't feel it now. That was years ago and I've moved on from that.

Pain Yes, of course...a break up is never pretty.
Guilt No, because it was soo called for...we both new it was time to say:"Goodbye" |

I thought it was mutual, but have recently discovered he thought I just needed time to make the big decision. I am experiencing some guilt now since it seems like he's having to go through our break up again...only this time in reality!

My last breakup was the most painful one I have had.........it is never pretty when a guy says they want to break up so they can be "free" when they go on vacation.

No pain or guilt....and no I'm not cold. It was like that for the both of us. She turned around and had a boyfriend in 2 weeks after we broke up...She still owes me $300 for past bills that I had to pay....so no....no pain no guilt... Oh but, I do have one that was very painful and I regret doing it. Her name was Maggie. She was the best girl I ever had and when i was 19 years old, I broke up with her for a VERY stupid reason.....and I have regretted it ever since.... Very good post by the way Mirror..... Got me to think about Maggie again which I always will do....thank you...

Na, not really. It was a fairly long term relationship and I just felt like we had said everything that could be said. I’m certain he was a little resentful but in the end, that’s his decision and nothing I can do about it.
