Good morning. I bought a 2 liter of diet Pepsi. Found out it was just a lit bit more than the 20 ounces in price. Just got home from working third shift on my day off. Usually work second shift. Will be crashing pretty soon on the pillows.

Hey musichic, having my second pot here watching the rain that hasn't stoped since yesterday.

Yea rained here all day yesterday and last night, sometimes, quite hard. However, we really needed the rain. Didn't have much all summer.

No word yet from carol, I'm worried too. Talked to her on the phone last night until 11 my time. At that time she was going to go to bed and try to sleep through it if she could, tried calling her this morning all I got was busy signal, I new then the power was down/

I don't know, she has msntv so she won't be able to contact us until the power comes back on, unless she can find someone with a wireless comp just to let us know she is ok, hope so.

I hope she is OK. We've had rain here today and even heavier rain due later, on into tomorrow. Of course nothing like IKE....sure hope the ppl in TX and LA. are alright.

Good morning. Had to take a different road home. The effects of Ike was even felt up in Northern Arkansas. Big tree down before you get to my house. About four thirty this morning I thought the winds were really blowing. Glad my electric is on and my Internet works. Surrounding counties have many power outages due to fallen trees. Sure were many branches and leaves on the road home.
