On the quitting smoking, if you can make it a week you can stop for good. I smoked heavy or 35 years and then a little over 9 years ago I quit and haven't started back. It can be done hang in there

Thank you, I will. I need some friends. I am a widower of 2 years and live with my 25 year old son or he lives with me. I am disabled so don't work so stay home most of the time. I hope to meet some people and start living again.

Hey cat how are you doing today, read about the excitement by your place.

It's only been 3 days....I am mutlilating these poor straws. It's just the fact that I can have something to chew, it's not that I really have a craving to smoke a cigarette. When I get those cravings I grab a peice of the cinnamon gum. I had heard that cinnamon gum is the best as far as taking away the craving to have a smoke.

Yeah, it was pretty wild....one of my room mates friends is visiting from Florida this week. He had just got up and came out of the bathroom....and yelled out...what's with all the Army guys in the front yard and heading over to the neighbors. We all went running to the front door but didn't go outside right away. About that time I hear, what I thought was an explosion...it was the swat team blowing in the door. That's when I went on the porch and watched from there. The guy who lives there was home...his wife was at work. I'm not sure about there adult kids.....but they had drug traffic coming and going from that place all hours of the day and night for the past two years.

Man you sure did have some excitment this morning. Wow Keep up the good work on not smoking girl, proud of you
