wow, I had a tottally different experience when I was in Dublin in 06...The people were super nice, the weather was great(a little cold) and the club scene was cool as well, just like you tho I didnt like the clubs that closed early...from what I heard there are early club and ones that closed later on around 2am......I was only there for a long weekend, I always felt like I would go back for a second visit one day.... Oh a weekend revolution is good fun but try and live here all year around....forever!! Its hard and the country is slowly winding back to the early 90's. Unemployment is on the rise. Watch out America here we come again!!! As far a where I live????????? Its a good area for married people with children but for single people it sucks, I always have to drive to Philadelphia for a good time.... |

Sinne Firnna Fáil A tá fé gheall ag Éirinn, buion dár slua Thar toinn do ráinig chugainn, Fé mhóid bheith saor. Sean tír ár sinsir feasta Ní fhagfar fé'n tiorán ná fé'n tráil Anocht a théam sa bhearna bhaoil, Le gean ar Ghaeil chun báis nó saoil Le guna screach fé lámhach na bpiléar Seo libh canaídh Amhrán na bhFiann. please translate, it's looks so beautiful whose lives are pledged to Ireland; Some have come from a land beyond the wave. Sworn to be free, No more our ancient sire land Shall shelter the despot or the slave. Tonight we man the gap of danger In Erin's cause, come woe or weal 'Mid cannons' roar and rifles peal, We'll chant a soldier's song It's the National anthem |

And this is the unoficial athem for a complete Ireland, sung at rugby matches as the rugby team comprises both the north and south
Come the day and come the hour Come the power and the glory We have come to answer Our Country’s call From the four proud provinces of Ireland Chorus Ireland, Ireland, Together standing tall Shoulder to shoulder We’ll answer Ireland’s call From the mighty Glens of Antrim From the rugged hills of Galway From the walls of Limerick And Dublin Bay From the four proud provinces of Ireland Chorus Hearts of steel And heads unbowing Vowing never to be broken We will fight, until We can fight no more From the four proud provinces of Ireland Chorus |
