Hey i was just wondering if size really mattered?
I mean yeah it's important, and yes you have to be attracted to the person you are with, but let's say you fall in love with somone and over the years they gain weight is it really okay to leave them because of that? |

I think it depends on how excessive it is... the problem is if someone gains a whole lot of weight, there is probably underlying reasons... I personally wouldn't leave someone for it, however just for health reasons, do whatever I could do to get them to lose weight. LOL I have my own weight to lose and I know how much of a struggle it can really be.

My mother has gotten very, very heavy over the years when she started to use a cane due to an injury. She's still the same person as she was before the weight gain. My Mom and Dad are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary next month. They are both 70 yrs. old. |

Well, I lost over 120 LBS. and ended up in divorce, so I guess size does matter to some. I lost weight for health reasons, but when I started looking better, my ex lost interest in me. Go figure.

Are you thinking about going back? I wouldn't. People are supposed to like you for whom you are. What happens if you gain weight again? He leaves again? What happens when you get older and don't look like you do now? Lord forbid if you got in a car accident or had a stroke. He told you who he is already.

you know the weight gain issue for me is this, if you like someone because they arent fat ,then they do gain weight to me that alone is reason for the break up. just like if you like someone because they dont smoke then all of a sudden they pick up the habit.people leave one another over, money,bad sex,etc. so if your going to leave because of these things then why not over a weight issue.remember to each is own
