i cant seem to get my im on this site to work milehighco wants to im
and i cant recieve!! this isnt the firsit time. its been going on for a
while? any body?!?!?!?

Is your pop-up blocker activated. If so deactivate for the site.

i am not able to get instent messages at all i click yes but they dont

Brighteyes - there are people here who want to help you, but it might
help if you give us some information - Verb wanted to know whether you
us windows xp or MacOS X or something else for your OS - and whether you
use firefox or explorer or something else for your browser.

Karma made a good suggestion about making sure the pop-up blocker has
been deactivated - can you tell us whether you've checked for that? we
could tell you how, but first we'd need to know which browser you use.
(The easiest way might be to go to "Help" and then "About [...]")

i dont know how to remove pop up blocker and my pc is a refurbished one
so i know nothing to tell you but cant get to all of you except email no
pop up im's how do i turn it off

your ims are turned off thats why

go to my account, settings tab then click turn on your ims

Brighteyes, I'm wondering if you have the JSH "Instant Message" option
turned on. Its pretty easy to check on that:

Look at your own profile. In the top row of the screen, click on "My
Account". The second row will change to include the word "Settings",
click on that. You might see:

Account Settings

* Change Password
* Mail Settings
* Limit Who Can Send You Mail
* Search Preferences
* Turn On Instant Messaging
* De-Activate Profile
----------------------------------------
Look at the second line from the bottom in that list.

If your screen, like mine, says "Turn On Instant Messaging", then click
on those words - the words will change to "Turn Off..." and that means
you have IM on.

But if your screen already says "Turn Off Instant Messaging" - don't
touch it, but please let us know what it says.

Brighteyes, it looks like you successfully changed your account to allow
IM, because the 'instant message' button now appears in your profile. I
just enabled IM in my account and tried to contact you; for a while it
says:

*** Waiting for brighteyes66 to connect

And then:

*** The user chose not to respond to you

Did you see anything?
Can other members interpret this for me?
Did it just 'time out', or what?

Hello All,

I may be waaayy out in left field here but what do you have set for your
search capabilities? Could the search preferences have anything to do
with IMing too?

Just a thought... I really don't have a clue. But maybe...

all i see is the name and wants to im you yes / no and i clicked
yes over and over

For the people more familiar with JSH IM - can you tell whether
brighteyes has popups enabled, if she is now getting that window that
asks "Yes/No" ?
