one of three things will happen.... they will feel awkward and friendship will be over.... they will feel the same way and friendship grows to more... or last and most likely.. you tell them.. they dont feel the same.... but at least its out there and the friendship goes on.... |

Difficult situation to be in hey? lol Really think about this. I was in this position a long time ago. But I never knew if that could of been a great friendship because I couldn't get past the feelings. I'm just wonder if anyone has ever been through this and know some tricks to keep the friendship and let go of feelings that are never going to have a chance.

tough situation to be in. I think I would have to be able to accept the fact that we would never be more than friends. If I could do that the friendship could continue. If I couldn't my feelings would end up taking over and one way or anouther the relationship would eventually end.

Hmmmmmmm....good question. Let me analyze this a moment...lol. What would be the reason you couldn't be with that person? Well they weren't married. But they were straight. They knew of the crush, but didn't feel the same. They still wanted to remain friends. You just cannot help who you like. This happened to me when I was up in Michigan about a year ago. It was crazy! lol |

This person I am speaking of called me today and brought back some memories. lol I was just curious if anyone had ever been through this as well.

  One thing I do not understand is why this bothers people. It's like once someone figures out I'm gay, they run for the hills. That's sad. Because that could of been a missed opportunity for a great friendship.

I don't think I could remain being friends with someone I had a crush with and we couldn't be anything BUT friends... but i'm immature so, maybe that's why.
