Well, I want the "Old" MTV back. Ya know. The one that ACTUALLY PLAYED MUSIC VIDEOS! God. Sometimes I do miss the old days.

It's been so long since they've played music videos, if I did see them play one I'd be shocked!

I'm not sure how I'd react if they actually played music. It's amazing to me how far they've gone off-track.

They need to change the freaking name of the channel. So does VHI, but at least they give you channels of VH1 that actually do play videos.

That reminded me of the band "Dire Straights"but Yep!I concur.I rarely look @ that channel anymore.:(
 I need 2 convert all my old vid.'s onto DVD+RW from old VHS tapes.

get a dreambox(or other opensource dvr) and Aries.....make your own station........i guess i could stream ya some
right now its 4 non blonds playing whats going on sometimes i even take requests |

I remember when MTV played all music, I think I was 15 and back in the 80's.
MTV actually has alternate channels and a few play videos exclusively. Check youe cable company's expanded channels options. You might have to pay extra though

My only problem with MTV playing videos again would the fact that it would just play crappy rap videos

My roomate has MTV-HD and it plays videos all the time. its a mix of country, rock, crap-erm i mean rap, and classic videos too.
And I love VH1 classic channel! |

I remember when Headbangers Ball first started. What a freaking awesome show that was. Got to see lots of videos by the metal artists that I loved. Then during the day, I'd get Debbie Gibson. Ahhhh!

lol...i remember when mtv was just the moonman standing there holding an american flag for 3 wks...and just waiting for it to start playing vids..........

i think headbangers ball was the best thing to happen to metal. and of course i miss it...and the old mtv. what a shame they have lowered their standerds so far.
