Do you still trust the preachers who have millions of dollars from people and still ask for more monies ?. well that depends on if you are implying that the money goes in their pocket instead of using the money to do good...like supporting missionaries, helping the poor...the sick etc. what are you implying? Actually there are quite a few that I like... they have very good teachings. Like... Dr. Ch. Stanley TD Jakes Joyce Meyers GOD TV is spreading God's word around the world. Awesome... In the time of media why not? Jesus said to go out into all the world & preach the good news to those who are lost & needy. Another very lonely thought . |

I'm not sure Jesus would appreciate people using his name and exchanging money ...last time that happened in the Lord's temple Jesus had a conniption fit |

GOD TV is spreading a mans intrepretation of gods word around the world. Sorry state of affairs since most of them either beat you up with fire/heaven or tug at your heart strings with 40 year old pictures of starving children. Some do appear to be at least trying to spread the truth of his holiness christ. |

Preachers... They have taken on the mantle of men of god... (but are not god) They speak words written by the tools of men... (as though those words came directly from the one source) and in front of it all they insist on being payed as though it is a job to work for god. Most of them haven't got a clue. Unproductive professions: Preachers and Lawyers and psychologists . Productive professions: Carpenters, Masons, Artists, Designers, REproductive professions - Diving instructors, ski instructors and the occassional midwife |

I attended a Pentacostal church in southern Michigan who would ask the congregation about the problems and needs within the community. They would take up a collection and turn it right around and give it back to the needy. They would go out and find the people who really needed it, give it to them or help them wit hthe bills or food or shelter. Needles to say that church has grown enormously. I loved it |

I like it when churches really do help people. I like anyone who helps others without sticking his or her opinions on them . One time during last Summer near a public outdoors swimming pool I saw some people handing cones of ice cream to anyone : lots of kids and some adults were there enjoying the ice cream . I went near them and I found out " they were giving ice cream and putting Jesus in their throats ". I thought : well this is hypocrisy . When a kid or an adult came for a cheap cone of ice cream they were telling them " you see how much Jesus loves you.....etc.". |

They give free ice water and pass out little Bibles and what not. As if people have not heard of Jesus and Christianity already. I think if they are going to do that, they should dress some guy up in a robe and beard that looks like what people think Jesus looks like and then their children can believe in Jesus like they do in Santa Claus and they will even get to say they saw him so they will really believe then. Hummmmm... JB |
