I'm not having a lot of luck on this site or the other free dating sites I'm on. It's like trying to sell refrigerators to polar bears (although, with global warming...). Anyone here try the pay dating sites? What was your experience? How's chemistry.com? That one looks interesting to me. Thanks!

Pay sites tend to send false mail as to perk your interest, most of the mail comes from bots programmed by the site. Not all, but most sites are like this.

The pay dating sites suck. and its really the same people you find on the free ones.

One site woudnt delete my profile so I wrote in it that it was fake and I had been asking them to delete my profile or take it off line and they wouldnt do it. They still left my profile, but added a blurb after ti saying that they werent fake, LOL. I cant imagine why having my profile on their site is so important to them, but even after I deleted it they just kept putting it back up for some stupid reason.

Pal try Match.com sign up for a month and see were it goes. Just keep it real and just a warning the pic's there posting are for the most part old. So what you see is not what your going to be meeting. Good Luk

I have been here 7 months & have never been asked for a credit card #. I havn't been very lucky with the dating aspect, but I have had some really good dicussions in the forums & a lot of laughs. If I found a better site i'd pay for it. I tried E Harmony & was disapointed. Once you got past the "check yes or no" stage, it was just like here, no one wants to be the 1st to e mail. They don't have the forums or a chat either, so it was a waste of money & time.

To keep the number of "singles" up, really false advertising the amount of chances a person has.

American Singles did that to me. They do it to keep the numbers of members artificially high.

in my expierence we get what we pay for. this site is free, so I dont expect anything. i have tried a local dating company, it was pricey but it worked well for me. I met some nice, compatible ladies and got more sex than i ever will from here to boot.
