That is the spirit. My mechanic is working for a shop now, again at Cheever's which is right down the road from him to make ends meet. He said he would let me know when he had some time to help me. I bought about 85 dollars worth of groceries this morning after the bank open up at 8 am on Saturdays. I am still waiting on the Federal refund that will show up on a card they will send me. I wasn't as grumpy old man this morning as the grumpy young nurse who came in to relieve me. It was so cool because she was grumpy for me. it was nice taking a break from being grumpy because she was being grumpy for me. But she worked the shift before me and the shift after me. It helps to get the overtime in 8 hour segments instead of working double shifts. Mom wished me happy birthday this morning and told me to put her rent money in USA bank instead of Arvest bank like last time. This is the first year so far since I have been here that the water pipes haven't frozen up, yet. But I would rather pay the extra electric charge than having to do without water. Doing without water when I was the only one in the house was acceptable but frustrating but doing without water with a boarder is just not acceptable. Lady and the Pitt Bull are doing better. The Pitt Bull still tries to come in the house but not as bad.

She is just a stray. Lady found her not me. She is Lady's dog. That is right I found the disposable camera in the van. I will try to get a picture of her if she comes around again in the daylight.

The Brindle is doing fine. She was giving some food in a dish in front of the house. I am curious if she will chew up her dish like Lady does hers. Considering getting Lady a metal dish. She really likes plastic. There is a small piece of Lady's dish she hasn't chewed up, yet.

I am glad we got our pay checks early. I got to sleep most of the day. We have been so fortunate this weather. I know the winter of the ice storm was a lot worse. No broken pipes, yet. There was the one freeze where the water froze in the pipes but I did it right this year and turned the well pump off then turned the heater to maximum. When I woke up hours later I turned the well pump back on and the water went through with no ice to break the pipes. It was my best experience with the water situation since 2004.

I hear that. I couldn't get home after work this morning. I worked two and a half hours over then slept at the nursing home. I woke up at about 5 in the evening then went to Walmart to get some comfortable shoes. I am supposed to be off tomorrow after this 13 days of straight working.

I bought some Earth Spirits shoes at Walmart. They were on sale for 15 dollars and they feel wonderful on my feet. Oscar and me put the new oil sending unit of the van and that took care of the oil leak. The wiring connector was bad under the hood and we put a wire nut there then the oil pressure started showing up on the gauge. The part store had to order a next day shipment of the dimmer switch assembly and it will be in the morning to pick up. We had went to Mullen's auto salvage to get a look at the 88 van the seats had come out of. Their puller of parts was out with the flu. Oscar said he would have time this week to help me on the new room. I gave him my new cell phone number as I couldn't find the cell phone I had. This one has a louder ringer on it so I can actually hear it ringing. It was cool to get the refund on the Turbo Tax Visa card because I was able to order Online a new CPU for my computer.
