Marshall and me got the roof decking done for now. He used the slap stapler to staple the tar paper down. The overhang floating fascia boxed in real good. I still have saw dust in my hair from being underneath Marshall while he was on the roof. He was right the chalk line came in real handy. So I am at a standstill on the room until I get shingles. About $400.00 for shingles to cover the 24 foot by 14 foot roof. But when we have to take part of the old roof because nobody thought it wise to put starter shingles which lead to the leaking roof above the small bedroom in the back. I was glad to get what we got done. Just have to save up for shingles to finish the roof project before I can start putting up the exterior wall covering. Marshall and me decided to make the adjoining bathroom 8 foot by 8 foot off the back of the new room which shouldn't interfere with the large oak tree that is close to that area.

Doing pretty good. Got the concrete blocks next to the dirt side painted with tar. Probably will have to throw the shirt away because I used the green stain paint that makes untreated boards treated. It is kind of like creosote but a little runnier so it splashes every where like in your hair and eyes. I found a place on my shirt that didn't have the green stain and black tar to wipes my eyes on. Kathy said she wondered what that black stuff on the bathroom floor and sink was.

Got the commode home from my friend. I will have a matching set soon of commode, double sink and bathtub. They are all yellow for the new room. He is building a concealed room for his new nursery and needs the space. The nursery inhabitants were so beautiful and he didn't over nutrient these this time. They had pretty green leaves and the cutest little buds. I know he is a proud father. It was sad that one of them got so root bound but he gave it a partial viking funeral in his pipe. I could tell that they were his prized possession. The way he takes care of them and gets them anything they want. He says that he can't wait till they are legal and can share them with the world.

So glad Marshall and me got those shingles on the roof. It is like one fourth done on room going up. One square done and need three more to finish it. Will find out tomorrow if the trash man could find any shingles in Cotter he was talking about. I have been out in the pump house cleaning up where all the squirrels must have had fun. Been burning the old ate up boxes and taking the full jars and putting them on the shelf. A person can walk in there without tripping over too much stuff now. The floor made out of fiber boards is in pretty bad shape where the wood has been rotting from too many times the water pipes have frozen and busted over the years. Electric bills that came in separate for each meter was a lot cheaper without the deposits on them but did show that they were paid. I can only stay out there for so long because of the dust from sweeping the squirrel droppings out and the heat is still with us. I have noticed it getting cooler in the mornings though. I will be cleaning up some more on the pump house tomorrow till three when I will go over to Stu's to pick up the double sink. At least when I get the pump house done I will be able to have a place for my yard tools and lawnmower. A lot of my computer parts I will be able to store in the pump house, too. But I am going to put a splash guard around the well pumps and pipes in case they break this winter. Hopefully, they won't though since I have a nice heater I got from Walmart to keep it warm for the pipes and fruit jars. I hope you are having a good day.

I am sorry your tummy is hurting. I picked up the two sinks and the tub, today. Found out my air conditioner wasn't bad but my electrical plug-ins are. Then I went to plumbing. I over tightened the faucet under the house after finding I didn't have the right fitting. will be trying to get three quarter PVC fittings so I can turn the water back on.

I finished cleaning out the well pump house for now. It sure was a job I wasn't looking forward to doing. Trash man dropped off the tar paper but no shingles. I will be cutting a hole in the new room for the air conditioner instead of putting it in a window. Fixing to go to a meeting.
