Was cold this morning but it warmed up. I got a lot of the fence line cleaned up. Been mowing grass, rocks , limbs and a lot of briars.

I was looking for snakes this afternoon when I was burning out an old stump. I found a rotten log and it helped the stump to burn fast. Did a lot of burning, today.

Its raining, again. Got some shovelling done this morning on the new room I am trying to build.

Well, since poetry is part of my thinking I have to remember what Nene told me about ending a poem on the positive side. Otherwise I can get caught up in the bridging. For example, on the new room idea I am going to try to keep it real simple. I will add the new bathroom on at a later date. I am going for just the concrete pad and getting it done. Hopefully, get the room done before winter sets in. My idea is to have a new bedroom off to the side and turn my current bedroom into a living room. My smoking really gets to Kathy as she is a nonsmoker and all this stuff I have in the house is crowding the space. I really need to expand.

Well, it is going to be a while on the dog house with all this rain we are getting. I might have to house train myself.

She got one of those Orecks. It worked great for a while. They need special Orecks for people who live on dirt roads.

I had a good neighbor that kept a copperhead away from Lady. I guess she was trying to play with it out in the road.
