Shipman's fixed the water problem. It wasn't supposed to have a check valve in the line. I even fixed the stuff that work. A $100.00 lighter in the pocketbook. Ouch. The one who put the broken check valve in delibritly did it that way so they would have the screw in threads for the air pressure guage. Knowledge is power and can save you money. Got three refrigerators now that don't work. An aide at work told me she just sold a hot water heater like I needed two weeks ago. Hate hearing that.

I got the new hot water heater installed. The cold is freezing and hot is lukewarm, now. The new hot water heater cost $273.00 at Miller's hardware. That is not counting the new flexible connectors for the hot water outlet and cold water inlet. I also installed a water supply valve so that if I have trouble with the hot water heater I can turn the water supply off to the hot water heater. I can't wait to take a hot shower. Kathy congradulated me on getting working by myself. I am finding out what a man's job and what is a woman's job. So far I have found out that cooking is a woman's job and fixing things is a man's job. Before she moved in here though I found out that it all was a man's job.

It sure took a while but we have hot water now. Found out that on the 40 gallon model where the two heater elements are there are two separate controls for each element. They were factory preset for 120 degrees and the water was coming out lukewarm. With a flathead screwdriver I was able to crank them up to 150 degrees. It was so nice to take a hot shower. Some like it hot for sure.

Been running my butt off all day. I had Kathy call Kurt and he said come over to pick up the refrigerator. I went and woke Robin up. Robin had Maddie and we took Robin's truck to Mountain Home. We found where Kurt lived and he helped us get the refrigerator in the truck. He gave me back a twenty after I gave him a hundred. I got the old refrigerator out and the newer one in. Then I hugged Robin and let Maddie go. Maddie rode in the car with me as Robin was hauling the refrigerator to my house. Kathy was impressed with the refrigerator and it works great. One more problem solved. Now just to rid of the three broken fridges and the broken hot water heater. I ran to get Marshall as soon as Robin left and was late to the meeting but now have the key to the place. Then I went to get Michelle and took her to the meeting. Then after the meeting I took Michelle home. Then ran Marshall home. I just got back and was glad Marshall gave me a twenty for gas. Sure tired of running though. Mull is a long trip and so is Mountain Home.

take the junk ones and sell them for the medial in them Roy,we when to a funeral today donna's family,was a long day it was in aurora mo, am beat was a nice service .. yup tired

The refrigerator and hot water heater are working great. It took the hot water heater some time to work because the water coming out of the ground was ice cold. Kathy was glad to have the hot water for the dishes. Now you have to turn more cold water on the tap to counter the really hot water.

We tease each other at night all night long. Sure makes the night go by faster. Just the other night at work the nurse told me to watch where I was grabbing. I thought she was talking about the resident. Sometimes I forget she is a woman, too. Sure wouldn't want to tell her that though. What I meant is that my water and hot water heater has been such a pain that I really enjoy some of just the simple pleasures in life. I worked a sixteen hour shift. All work and no play sure has made Roy a dull boy that is for sure. Everything is just so serious there it really has me too serious at times.

Doing good. Three days till payday. My friend, Norman told me that half of my circuit breaker might have gone bad to my hot water heater. He said I could check if I had 220 on the two wires going to the hot water heater and 110 to the separate wires. My electric bill went down to $62 bucks.
