I would think that there isn't anything wrong with that as long as no one gets too serious.

Not "wrong", but I just personally don't believe in it. When you start seeing someone, it should be exclusive. Granted, you could "casually" date, but you would be holding back at least somewhat to not give the wrong ideas, but then how can you connect with anyone in particular that way? JMO

As long as one or more of the other parties doesn't believe you're dating exclusively, then, no, nothing wrong with it at all.
