I had a blt this morning and one yesterday

I never cared for 'store bought' ones myself anyway.
Had some of my Dad's first ones a few weeks ago straight from the garden...MMMMMM. Nothing like the first ones of the season right off the vine. And now having some of my sister's first ones just today. She has a special one..."4th of July tomato",...yummmmmmm

I've been going and eating tomatoes any place that serves them. If they are tainted with the scare and they are not looking out for me, then they deserved to be sued.......
Luckily, nothing has happened. |

i love tomatoes...
been eating them..mostly the cherry tomatoes.. i didnt here anything about any bad tomatoes..I dont watch the news at all...no problems though |

yeah ,first they said cherry and vine tomatoes were ok, it was just the large beefsteak..then they said it might not have been from tomatoes at all but,cross cotamination from other produce & they may never know the origin.
We're eating them now ...we love them in my house....vine,cherry,plum, store bought,homegrown..it don't matter! |

Here in N.Y. we heard of the salmonilla scare in tomatoes so, we stopped buying and eating them. Now their saying that it may not have been tomatoes at all  ...so we have gradually started tomatoes again...ohhh how I missed them! 
My co worker said she will not start again unless their home grown..any opinions? I am eating tomatoes and I am happy with it . No hospital visit yet .....

I have been purchasing the ones still on the vine
at the store, they say those are safe. Can't wait for the home grown ones to be ready. I  tomatoes! I like eating them as if they were an apple with a little salt, and sometimes without the salt. Beef steak tomatoes are the best! Big and juicey! I also like tomatoe sandwhiches on white bread with mayo.

I grow my own :) So no tomatoes scare at my house lol
