to quit smoking cigarettes.. Nothing I have tried has helped. Cold turkey cannot be done.. Any suggestions?

i did th lazer thingy about 3 1/2 years ago,,,,,,,it gets ride of th craven,,,,,,,,,,,,,but u haft to really want toquit,,,,,,,i'm just enjoying not to have that crave no more

I smoke too and would like to quit. My state has a program to help people quit. It has a hotline for when your feeling weak, etc. and alot of hospitals run free programs to help you stop smoking. Two things that you need is a strong desire to stop and to try to stay away from people who smoke while your trying to quit.

I had friends use ziban........it worked years ago but there is something else new out. Ask your doctor!

 Seriously tho, I feel your pain .. I quit years ago but it was a b*tch. No use to lie about it .. I really prayed a lot for God to help me cuz I had a horrible time letting it go ..

The addiction is the problem. Emphysema runs in both sides of my family and I do not want to get it! That's my motivation. |

its all about willpower if you really want to do something you will. i stoped smoking for 8 months for my girlfriend once and didn't really mind at all. course i've also quit meth cold turkey after doing it every day for a year and a half so uh try hypnotisim

my ex girlfriend would eat sunflower seeds when she got a craving after about 2 weeks she was off cigs and i wasnt getting yeld as much anymore lol

i quit several years ago. I used the patch it helped. cravings were less frequent and not as intense compared to quitting cold turkey. best of luck

read up on chantrix at websites though...has lots of side effects.
my husband has PTSD and one of the side effects is vivid dreams ..we didnt want his nightmares getting worse soooo....we decided not to use it after all
