come close and spend alot of time with a woman(a week, overnight's, calling often) and then back off? It's been my experience that guys like the chase. Once they get comfortable, they start looking for something/someone else to chase. When they're ready to settle down, they do with whoever they're comfortable with at that time. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. At least, that's how it seems to me.

I'v not had that opportunity myself, but I would guess they were either looking for something in a woman they did not find, or they were looking to get lucky and once they were satisfied they went on to new conquests!

Hmm. not me either, once I think I've found the one woman I'm meant to be with for the rest of my life that's it. I don't see a reason to back off etc, if it's meant to be then it is. However if it doesn't work out then it may be best to slowly move away who knows though.

Actually that is a self experience. May be when the guys find out what the exact nature of that woman is.

Unless he has something going on on the weekends on the side. Then he's not runnin, he's cheatin.
