well i see that this so called war has been going on longer than any
other war we have been in. and they say at least another 5 yrs. more at
least! i thought george bush said mission done.... what do you think

If the "mission" is to kill off every U.S. serviceman and woman for no
reason whatsoever, then GWB is off to a good start. If the "mission" is
anything else, it's been nothing short of an abject failure and needs to
be abandoned immediately.

I think you if you will recall in 2001 President Bush said the war on
terror would take decades. As for going on longer than any other war,
that is wrong too. Check the length of the Viet Nam War. As for
mission accomplished, that was the rout of the Iraq Army, the taking of
Bagdad and the removal of Sadam Hussain. If you would care to crack a
history book and check how long it took to reconstruct Germany or Japan
after WWII I think you will find that that didn't happen over night
either. You would be well served if you did your own research instead
of relying on MSNBC for your facts.

flashlight...and now, we're too far along to turn back...we're just
stuck until we find the light at the end. But the question is...Where is
that light? or better yet, who is that light? Is it Obama, Clinton...how
do we get out of this sticky situation, seeing as how far we've already
gone?

Even though its been 5 years...we cant just jump out of the bad
situation. As painful as it is...we just have to grint our teeth and
fight like hell to find the light.

them return our people. Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton and like minded
people have held our heads under the sand for far too long. Under their
presidencies we have been attacked from the mddle east, and turned into
a paper tiger. Bill Clinton, the fine man that he is, agreed to seveteen
resolutions upheld by the U.N. and not one of them was kept by Iraq.
Should we have made an eithteenth resolution? What could it have said
that the previous 17 did not. These people in the middle east will never
leave us alone, they will never stop trying to kill us. You cannot
negotiate or compromise with them. They want to kill us.

I find it amazing that people like you, when skewered on your erroneous,
facts resort to profanity and an attack on the person who questioned you
in the first place. You do it as a smoke screen to hide the fact that
your information was wrong and someone called you on it. Remember that

for the country down the tube, I notice that the Dow Jones Average has
reached an all time high. If things are so bad in this country, I am

5 years? how many of my brothers am i gonna have to lose before
this is over... see, i grew up with about 30ish guys around her ethat
all became like brothers... and so far about 15 have gone over, and 5
are still there... the other 10 came home in body bags... now they are
sending another one of those brothers, and my real brother... if i lose
my little brother, i dont know what id do... hes my best friend... i
keep joking about shooting him in the legs, just so he wont have to
go... but he will... i do not support GB in any aspect... he iis the
worst president we have EVER had.

i know i may just by a youngin, and i wasnt aroun when carter was
president. but i dont watch the news... i get my news from the army...
and it really is worse over there than what they are showing on tv.
those who support bush on sending more troops... need to be burned at
