Topic: Is it really that hard?

I've seen a number of post from various people stating. I can't find a date, or just can't meet anyone. Is it really that hard, or something truly about yourself?

I'm more open online. I can take down the walls I usually have up when I first meet people in real life. When I can talk for a while online, people get to know the inner me. Sure, meeting for the first time is kinda nerve wracking. I know I've been upfront. But not many people are. Normally, when I meet people, if the people I don't know out number the people I know, I kinda clam up and just watch. I'm really reserved and it takes a while to open up. That's usually why I have so much trouble finding dates.

I think a lot of people come here expecting that from thousands of online daters to choose from, they can have IT ALL and become soo choosy they never meet anyone. Maybe?

I'm a misunderstood poet. Yep!that's my story & I'm sticking 2 it.And my next apple is coming from high up on the tree,not from the ground were I found my X.

I have trouble because I am shy, more times then anything else I just keep to my self. Sometimes I wish when I see some one I like to go out with I'd just ask them and get the pain of not doing it over with. Online seem's a bit easier and less painful but that I guess is just my take on this. But I still haven't found any woman that would date me or be willing to take a chance on me etc etc.

Would that be...stop building it and they will come?

Meeting/dating someone hasn't been the issue. It's been finding folks who are honest about who they are and what they want....men who are not actually divorced, but only separated or men who say they want LTR and in reality only want an intimate encounter partner.
