i only had one court date...... they sentence there.... and i had a extra one with the dmv to fight to not lose my license for the 3 months that i did to try to keep my job.... then there is the thing you have to go to victums panel.. and the place you gotta go to to set you up with diversion classes... then 4 months or so of classes... and all that stuff you have to pay for....if its a first offense that is... so after a yr and you do everything you are told to do it never goes on a criminal record... but it will your driving record.... and the key is to keep paying your insurance there even when you cant drive pay it.... cause if you let it lapse they will run you and you will have to have a sr22 for a yr and that comes to 10k more than you would of had to pay if you keep it running continually whats a sr22? sr22 is a special insurance you will have to get if you let your insurance lapse..... very high priced.... like i said in the 3 yrs it costs 10k more than the regular insurance.... so worth keeping your insurance running all though you cant drive... never heard of it |

sometimes you can get away with stuff if you were high, drunk, or asleep. "Why did you put my keys in the freezer?!" "Dude, I was high! I was high okay?" "Oh... well... alright... But next time put them back in the lil bowl before you get high... I was late to work this morning".

So I consulted with a lawyer today and it is not affordable.... and half the things he was gonna do I can do for myself without him. So as I stand I am gathering info and going on my own!

So as I stand I am gathering info and going on my own! wish you luck, have heard horror stories from people who like you did it without attorneys (they are expensive); hope you are the exception! Thanks I hope it goes ok too! Luckly the guy I consulted with told exactly what I need to do to get it off my record.... i'm crossing my fingers! |
