Having a weird problem with my PC, went to download some files, which by default are going to my desktop. They downloaded just fine, except...... they didn't. They cannot be seen on the desktop at all, and I'm dumbfounded as to why.

I can access the files in question just fine by manually going into the desktop, through the open destination folder in the downloads part of my computer, but as far as being physically seen on the desktop itself, they're not there. I don't understand it, how could this be?

Maybe they're set to hidden

clean your desktop - too many items maybe

just right click and copy or send to desktop

Well I do have a lot of items, but there's still plenty of space to be had on it yet, and this never has happened before like this.

Fixed it, just right clicked on the desktop not really knowing what I was doing, hit refresh and everything I just downloaded popped right up. So that's that then, really weird though still.

lol if you cant see any icons or files on the desktop right click it, go to arrange icons, then select "show desktop icons".
