You hear or see every once in a while about a person who listened to their intuition and not getting on a bus that ends up crashing. Or feels like they need to make a detour from their normal routine and are in the 'right place at the right time' to help someone else.

So why don't we always listen to our intuition when it comes to relationships and particularly online relationships.

A few months back I got caught up in a relationship with someone online. It monopolized my time and energy. Before I ended it, there were two occassions where my intuition kicked in and I passed it off on being nervous about eventually meeting. But that wasn't it at all, it was my intuition that something wasn't what it seemed to be. Sometimes in life we want something so bad that we ignore the answers right in front of us or inside of us!

It takes work to learn how to listen to the little voice inside. And it also takes time to just be still and quiet, and open our hearts!

So my encouragement this evening for you all, is to take time to be still and quiet, mediate, read a book, just sit in a dim room with a cold ice tea or just sit and breath for a few minutes and quiet your mind and open your heart. You will find some peace and you just might find some answers too!

So true, I think sometimes you want so badly to connect with someone, you convince yourself that it's ok to settle instead of going for what you truly want and desire in someone.
