Here is my point of view. If a person has come to a point of enlightment such that they have seen that God is imaginary. The same fact should allow this person to become free of the idea of God to the point they should not even care about the rest of individuals who still believe in God.
When I see an individual (with all due respect) that makes 10 threads trying to prove why God is imaginary. The only two conclusions I can come up with are:

1) This person has not gotten the level of enlightment required to don't give a dime about God and those who believe in Him; or

2) This person has become a fundamentalist atheist whose only purpose in life is destroy the idea of God.

Personally, both instances are foolish because if this person has understood that God does not exist why even care. Let the crazy people be crazy, and be happy and grateful of your level of understanding that the rest of us does not have or this person is not in peace with his/her "enlightment" this the reason why this individual has focus his/her existance in the destruction of what he/she seems to reject.

Again if I believe that something does not exist why do I put so much energy in arguing that this thing does not exist?
It's enough to know of the non-existance of something and just live life to fullest.

However, to each one to his/her own delusion.

I feel that there are no definitive answers to any of these questions. Merely not believing in God, does not mean that there are not questions in our mind about it. These threads are to invoke thought in people. To see what drives a person to think the way that they do. Simply curiousity if you ask me.

You have a good heart, and I applaud you for that.
However, I believe that some people have an agenda, and is not the pure debate.

Yes God is imaginary! have we seen any photos of him! is god really a HE some people say that GOD is a she! In South Park God is a ugly lookin monkey! Miguel, I am having such a hard time just making it right now. Bills are piling up and no car of my own. House in jeopardy of being repossed, I mean foreclosed on, not enough work hours, nervous all the time. My belief is getting stronger all the time. I must believe that something good will happen. Otherwise, I will have nothing to hang on to.

My dear ((((Kat)))) I have no other explanation for my believe in God. I'm pretty much in the same situation as you are. However, I'm convinced that my Heavenly Daddy has a purpose for having me in such an awful financial situation. I had to pay rent with work in the yard and the landlord's yard, so you go figute how I am financially.
IN the middle of all this turmoil I still see God's hand acting upon me. Whenever things get desperate somehow I always get what I need to keep surviving. MY faith is certainly growing stronger.
I'm a catholic, and I believe in the Church's doctrine, however, what makes me strong is not that. It's my personal relationship with my Father.
I have been praying for you my dear. I request the same from you, so our dear God blesses us with a stron faith in this hurricane.
He already knows what we need, He will provide keep praying my dear.

This seems to be a place where everyone can express themselves whomever you are, whatever you have to say and generally be accepted. A place where you don't have to like or agree with anything.

ur goonna end up livin in the streets or back with mommy n daddy! Try gettin a job that would help! A bicycle from the trash as transportation and ur set. Cause God is not there to pay ur bills. If there was a God? how would he pay ur bills?

Who are you talking too?? I have a job, mind you it is not giving me the hours I want, but hopefully it will pick up soon. I had a car and couldn't afford to fix it so I just sold it a few weeks ago. My sis is loaning me her gas hogg pickup to get to work with. That alone is killing me financially. It now takes at least a third of my check to drive to work.

My mom and I bought a house together three years ago. She is 72 and still has a job. She doesn't get too many hours a week either.
We still have our own bills and new ones on top of that. Just found out our electric company is raising our rates by 30 dollars a month starting next month, because of fuel prices!
